Brothers Dave and Chris Doherty and drummer Simon Small were spotted at their very first hometown gig in Devizes, Wiltshire by award-winning producer/director/musician Jesse Davey (Joss Stone, Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart). A relationship developed that has seen the band working in the UK and Los Angeles and resulted in the ‘Mankind’ EP and a song (World We’re Living In) chosen for a Volkswagen USA marketing campaign. Referencing the likes of Beck, Rolling Stones, Supergrass, The Kooks, The Strokes and The Black Keys, Hitchmo have been stirring their local South West circuit and more lately taking their vintage rock and ageing van around the UK in pursuit of all night jams, new fans and the next level ..
