Life & Myself I play piano , drums , bass , guitar , saxophone , harmonica & sing. I have written in the region of 400 songs & am presently studying for a musical qualification @ college. I was born , in the morning ,in the town of Greenock in May of 1963. I don't really have any recollection of this part of my life other than photographs I was shown of the scheme I was born in , which has now been replaced. We moved to Dartford in Kent and lived there 'til I was about 4. We relocated to Scotland & I attended school at Lady Alice primary then went to Greenock High School for 6 years. I recieved prizes for my work in both primary & secondary school . Some friends and myself performed a rock concert in 5th year. It was a great success but I became negligent of my studies and spent most of my 6th year in the common room thinking of lyrics and having coffee. I then went to Strathclyde University . After busking for a few years I sang with some Glasgow musicians acoustically then went on to front my own group. Unfortunately the 2 Persian brothers , on lead guitar & bass , were more concerned with some things other than music and 1 year was lost with poor work. We seperated and I went travelling around the U.K. for about 2 years. I have appeared at the nightclub 'Heaven' in London(Charing X) & 'The Limelight'(Shaftesbury Ave.) for about 3 months . I travelled to Cardiff in Wales & played in a basement bar , one night only . After returning to London , my guitar was stolen & I was arrested (probably for looking vagrant) and spent 5 months in a mental institute. I have travelled throughout the U.K. taking my guitar with me , playing music in free houses & weather permitting , in the street. I enjoyed a busman's holiday to Dublin and met up and coming talent socially with whom I had the pleasure of working I released a track through 'Firewall Records' in 1997 on the InterWeb and have only recently relaxed my pace of composition.Another company 'WOOF' took some MP3 files of mine in March 2000. In early Spring of 2001 I flew to New York where I sold & distributed (not in great numbers) CD's of my music. I currently perform with an acoustic band named 'The Sharps' & we hope to have an original CD ready by Xmas 2005 PlayOn Campbell 'HARLO' Maclean.
