Twisted is born in the late nineties in Vevey, Switzerland. At this time, the band displays a powerful, tortured, mature and technical metal. The influences range from Tool, Korn, King Crimson, Meshuggah and many more… Twisted are not at their first gig. Not only the band has performed in many Swiss venues, but also as opening act or along side bands such as Mudvayne, Soulfly, Rammstein, Watcha and even Sonic Youth at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2000. After the release of an EP in 2000, after suffering from the total loss of music gear in the fire of their rehearsal studio in 2002, Twisted finally releases it’s first album in autumn 2004, with main metal distributors of Switzerland, Irracible. Right now, Twisted is focusing on promotion, by cultivating the “internet community”, with the help of an effective web page at myspace.com/twistedmetalband and a complete website at twistedband.ch The band seeks: - To find larger distribution, such as Europe and the US, for the actual album “Save the planet/ Kill yourself”. - A tour with a “notorious band” anywhere in the world. Yet, the main effort aims to sign a record deal with a label and produce a second album with the new material, such as the recently produced single “Kawa Akai”.
