Orchestra Baobab are the Senegalese masters of an urban style that pairs fast-flowing, rippling guitar lines with impassioned vocals over sophisticated rhythms: rumba, reggae, highlife, mbalax and "mbalsa", an infectious salsa hybrid. The vocalists - augmented by Youssou N'Dour on Nijaay - are superb, as is guitarist Barthelemy Attisso.
