There are numinous vocals and sustained strings, low pulsing ostinato and unusual close-miked instrumental textures. Over 22 cues from this intense film, Pook lays out a dextrous and moving sonic backdrop. Tracks such as Song of the White Dove, A Strange Happiness and Dear Monster contain some of Pook's most engaging melodies to date.
