Egschiglen's latest album is packed with legends, tales of romance and stories of bloody battles, which accentuate the courage and diversity of the Mongolian people. Played with traditional instruments and using khoomei (overtone singing), the album is enjoyable and accessible to the Western ear, and it comes with an informative 32-page booklet!
