Diy Dub Club have been going since 1994 or so, With Carsten Bauer and Rick Newton. After Years with Punkrock bands in dingy cellars and dodgy practice rooms, we set up using individual set ups of Atari and Pc with Triple Dat Cards. After two years we set up for live gigs, doing regular dates localy with guests from all genres of music. The shows went down really well, but Rick got a regular job and couldn't do so many live dates, as he was away most of the time. We did a couple of mini LP's and 4 track CD's, Some advertising and film sound, and some radio sounds, but ended up playing live again. Recently, well for the last two years, we have a new member in Stefan Rosinsky, who plays flute, guitar and bass, and a Nord Lead Synth, which is played in a very strange manner indeed! We still do a few live shows each year, which are well popular around here, and have done some 7" singles which you can buy across our site. We also have some Music videos, which seem to be popular with quite different kinds of people, and have played on several festivals over the years. Our live show has matured, and become amazingly solid, to the point that some people think that it's all prerecorded, whereby it's very interactive and with plenty of improvisation.
