1)the sheer lack of electronic music (not samples)
2)people need to realise the difference between a real electronic composer and a someone sat at home on fruity loops using complete sample base material.

also,

i have just developed a live tek house pa that is quite unique because i actually write the music there on the fly in front of the audience. it has taken me 6 years of being frustrated and broke to finallty get it right. the problem i have now is finding the right person that may know who to take this act to so it gets a good push (maybe a manager!!!) will or can any of you mviners help me im not expecting it all to come to me just trying every angle i can to make all my stress and hard work out there playing to the people KEEP IT LIVE UP THE DJ!!!!!!!! x matt

You're right.....and I know what you mean about dem out of the Corn Flakes packet loops.

As far as the PA goes....I don't totally understand, but if it's in the direction I think it is, the arts community can be really helpful. I met someone in Dublin recently making spontaneous 3 x laptops and analogue synth stuff, and they've been getting great support from art galleries/cutting edge institutions before finally taking it back to the clubs (in which they're now being accepted). Problem is, trad venues are a bit...well...trad. Maybe you could expand on the nature of it a bit more?

basicly i work from a master pallete of loops (i made) and jam them live for an hour. by doing this i can make my sets different every time

It lacks commercialism really.I think it has a lot of potential though!

i can't hear your music at the moment so i cant here your music. If it has a certain experimental ,avante-garde, electro-acoustic sound to it then you could try fat cat records. i think its www.fat-catrecords.co.uk

but maybe it hasnt...

I think that anybody that knows their music will be able to discern between good and bad electronic music.
